I’d met Alex and David years ago at a ‘meet up talk’ in Nottingham. Something new and literally connective ‘clicked.’ I felt really inspired by their talk about the Tao Te Ching/Wu Wei Wisdom. I approached them for a chat and offered to compose music if they ever required it…. They talk about it in the video below.
This led to David & Alex sending some test tracks of him reading some verses. To me composing along to them. Musically channelling the essence. It was an absolute pleasure. It worked!! And 81 tracks later…here we are.

Whilst composing commissioned meditation work for a client during the depths of winter weather and depressive dark misery, during January 2025. This album baby gestated and birthed!! It kind of ‘piggy backed’ on the work I was doing. I was in a kaleidoscope flow state of ambient, transient mellowness.
Whilst meditating lots (I use the Headspace app daily too) and good exercising habits. I thoroughly enjoyed and really got into the zone. Composing on evenings after my day job work and weekends. Good habits, good productivity and achievement.
Then the bastard lurgy hit, which cumulated with one of the most annoying coughing, violent sudden sneezing, pissing of ones pants… literally infections of recent years!

Of all the lurgy viruses I’ve been infected with, our dances with ‘Covid juice’ have been mild in comparison. This one has been a dragged out Fucker!

My wife Ange, got it first. Her cough has been louder than a relentless foghorn with jazz hands! Each double tap one over the last 2 weeks has destroyed my very soul! Fortunately she managed to get a Doctors appointment and antibiotics last week. Which nipped hers worst bits of it in the bud! I was very worried for her and her pants too!!
My coughing manifested fully during an NHS conference with hundreds on Thursday… only during the talks mind!! Sucking a constant supply of Jakemans honey and lemon throat sweets. I won’t repeat my ‘gratitude words’ and perfect timing for this!!
Then I go down the list of which one of you gave it to us.. swearing to Ange that next year. We are doing a self imposed lockdown and seeing no one in winter! Yes full drama queen reaction! ‘All about me again’ as she has reflected.
The journey of life, taking responsibility and lessons can be harsh at times.
Samhain 2024 cumulated to a 2am visitation to A&E for me, a very kind, helpful and understanding A&E Doctor. Followed a month of being monged out on opiates, which in my younger years I’d have thoroughly enjoyed.
An irreversible health issue diagnosis of neuropathy followed, it had suddenly reared a very ugly and painful head (that culminated in more Doc and nurse visits, new meds and a harsh lesson in self monitoring my blood sugars better & care with less cake!)
Fortunately I’ve come out the other end feeling a lot better. So far my fingers and feet have settled and instrument playing is not now affected.
I also can’t recommend Acupuncture highly enough. It’s helping my knee arthritis and peri menopause symptoms no end too! (Thanks Bev!)
But when life gives me lemons! Drink with honey and a positive mind set.
I’ve found much joy in making freshly squeezed orange juice on a weekend. Nesting with an open fire and our cats, Figgy and Rambo during the cold winter. With little alcohol intake and more water and herbal teas as a habit. I’m feeling pretty darn good.
I do feel at peace with myself at last. I know where I’m going and where I want to be. I also know that making music makes me feel wholly satisfied. I’m walking my path and life’s purpose. I’m not seeking answers anymore. Just indulging in Dogmen and cryptic witness stories.
I’m also enjoying lots of audiobooks on Audible. Breath by James Nestor is educating, leading me into The Wim Hof Method. Miriam Margolyes ‘This Much is True’ read my her, is a brilliant and hilarious memoir. We have booked to see her live this year too. She is a national treasure!
A multitude of YouTubers. (Cried my eyes out as Occy – Max & Occy died the other day.) I then watched series Earth Abides, which cumulated in more obscene blubbering about the dog FFS!!

Day job wise – I’m doing a Level 3 apprenticeship standard in Data & Insights for Business Decisions. I’m privileged that the NHS supports such training.
Whilst I love making music. It and creativity is ‘me’ through and through. I do love a bit of day job data crunching and contracting in Procurement. I still have so much to learn though, nearly 2 years into this role. But I can say – it’s my favourite day job I’ve ever done, so far!! I thank my brilliant colleagues and peers for making it a really good experience I get paid to do.
Stinking Rita, our band are sad that our usual rehearsal/ jam space – That Weird Shop in Sneinton, Nottingham has shut. But many shenanigans to look forward to. I love you all!! Xxx

Music has really helped me focus on positivity, good mental health and achievement during the month that some are skint and just rest.
Music recharges my batteries. As I set the intentions and channel. Then I recharge in the summer sunshine – which often means going abroad to warmer countries. England’s weather is mostly guaranteed to be overcast and grey. Yes I will be celebrating my 50th year in Cyprus.
Having moved house a couple of times. Firstly – as we needed a bigger space. Sadly that didn’t work out and whilst the property was cheap rent, we ended up having a whole heap of issues. It needed lots of work with fixing its damp and new horrors kept being uncovered! Lesson learned when you move in during a heatwave!! Which didn’t help our health. Disappointingly some folk think they can play being ‘landlady and landlord’ – and basically money grab, without looking after the basic requirements of providing a decent and legally compliant home for people to live in! For all the bullshit people spout. They always get found out and caught out in the end. I have no words for the sheeple that jump on other peoples beef, when they only accept their ‘opinion and truth’ of events. Not the actual reality.

Fortunately – fate is ace! And through going through these challenges. We’ve ended up in the perfect place to live, which we love. This afforded mass dejunking. Which I highly recommend – it’s liberating!!
We moved out of Nottingham. Which we had wanted to do for a while. Plus my day job allows 3 days home working per week, 2 days in the office. So I can commute.
I digress… Back to the music!
I’d previously compiled a few tracks from my repertoire (and edited them down to shorter lengths.) I began composing new ambient, electronic ones.
Less melody, more calm.
And so unexpectedly, an album I had on the back burner was finished. So I’m releasing Tranquil Meditations on 3rd March 2025.
I’m also currently composing and recording album WITCH. Not this weekend, as am still full of this virus. Which is frustrating. But sometimes one has just got to call a time out and rest and recover. Yes it is a tight squeeze fitting all of this in whilst working full time. But I procrastinate less and crack on working hard.
We’ve a busy summer working at festivals/events. I’ll be performing live at a few too. So autumn/winter is my composing time.

This album is an exploration of ambient soundscapes. Most of the track are over 9 minutes long. It has been my escape form the darkness into the womb. Into safety… Recorded during the 2020/2021 lockdown when the mood and need for escape to meditational landscapes took hold. Even upon returning to work from working from home, I’ve played it. Its a comforting partner, accompanying me now I’ve embraced creating new oil paintings after a few very busy years of day job and qualification studies, oh and that pandemic too.
When we were ‘allowed out’ finding remote places to explore and wander. Whilst it was hard missing family and friends in person. The need for peaceful visual countryside experiences, void of crowds has never left me.
The definition of my life – Werifesteria ‘to wander longingly through the forest in search of mystery.’ I’m always searching. I find it in my dreams and meditations. Seeking it as the human experience on this planet is ongoing. The Divine Journey that my healing room/music home studio/art studio and garden which has partly wilded itself the last year has been a tiny paradise.
We had not travelled abroad with trips cancelled and postponed until 2022. We did manage a trip to Cornwall, UK. Sitting watching the waves crash on Fistral Beach in Newquay. Re energised my very being. It was just beautiful. Cool vibes.
Agartha has intrigued me as after switching the news off. I’d watch lots of travel videos on YouTube. I’ve further explored outer worlds, inner worlds, ancient myths, facts and speculations.
Sacred Fire was built around tribal drumming recorded on my iPhone at a Pagan Festival – Pagan Tribal Gathering. Twice now cancelled due to the pandemic. I now have a brand new portaloo and solar shower sat in my garden shed waiting to be used or ready for an apocalypse.
The last track is my surf inspired remix of Azure Oceans. I hope it brings mellow vibes and cosmic journeys to all who listen. I find it accompanied my album ‘They Architect The Stars’ well.

A multi-dimensional 11 track (1 hour 16 minutes) collection of acoustic guitar based pieces, meditative electronic synth environments to explore. Themes of inspiration from the moon, the sky, the sea, the sun, the cosmos. Channeling Universal Life Force Energy through music, from past lives. The conscious element is intention, to create and perform a beautiful, higher vibrational, harmonious soundscapes.
Track 1: Capodastro We begin with a sweet and sunny acoustic guitar ditty.
Track 2: Ethereal Sunset 432 Hz – Inspired by the beautiful mystic energies of sunsets on Benirrás beach, Ibiza. As the blissful darkening introduces us to the night. The orange and pinkest skies bring awakening light. (10 minute extended single (Boho Mix) version also on digital stores. Why 432 Hz? This is the natural frequency of the Universe. Track 3: Murmuration – Soundtrack for the Starlings, for the patterns in the sky for the people that have ascended. For when we look up to the sky and see the magic and true beauty that befalls us.
Track 4: Mantra multiple layers build upon the foundations, rising, thickening, rhythmical enchanted affirmations for self.
Track 5: Sorrow of Souls. The ones we encounter that so brightly shine. They illuminate and touch lives. they remain undiscovered, to the masses and a Saviour to the few. A philanthropist that doesn’t need to donate money to help others benefit.They donate selflessness, love, tolerance. When a loved one departs their body. There are regrets at the unsaid. Peace in the mourning and sorrow until we meet again. Built upon piano, acoustic guitar and strings.
Track 6: Archipelago. By a moonlit sea in Es Canar. I recorded the night waves. I’d been to Ibiza for a holiday earlier in 2019 and explored. Illuminated and inspired the essence of a sunset of Benirrás Beach, boat trips, the land train exploring the island. The vibe at Café Mambo. The Balearic islands vibe entertain beautiful chilled out times.
Track 7: Motion of the Moon. Watching night sky watching the moon. The changes that occur in life, the circles we covet. There is a full original version I recorded years ago of this with my vocals. I’ve always loved performing this – so recorded an instrumental take of it.
The next 3 track are a trilogy of chill out music. Journey in to cosmic calm. 432 Hz.
Track 8: Orbital Ghosts. It’s now to down lights, close your eyes, adventure, relax, meditation, do yoga, adventure. The voices of apparitions invite you in.
Track 9: Zodiacal Light (24 mins) The powerful rumbles in the awe and glow, ebb and flow of mystical reflections of light in the night sky. 432 Hz for deeper meditations.
Track 10: Moonlight Arc Ambient space, the cosmos. For travellers, explorers of ascension.
Track 11: Eulogy – Simply piano. I had a very strong urge after a family member’s funeral to compose something fitting that combines, love, loss, and celebration and remembering.

Sometimes I create my best works when I feel vulnerable, at a loss with life. My escape into Claudsville, into rapture. Music is my Panacea. I’ve struggle at times with depressive episodes. If I don’t look after myself. If sustained stress encapsulates me, I fight but eventually crumble into a desert wilderness. Low mood, the fog, hopelessness surrounded me in 2018..many many months.
A sustained draining and soul destroying circumstances bled me to the brink. I’d put on the acting face of ‘everything is ok.’ Eventually my health and wellbeing became cake left out in the rain. Deterioration lead to the inevitable health, emotional and mental health issues. I’d gotten quite poorly so took time out to heal. I didn’t want to lose my relationship or sanity.
Cycling round the lake. Being amongst the beauty of the trees. Meditation, and music making. Months later.. week by week. I began to feel like myself again. It became a very private withdrawn time. Talking about it did not help. My recuperation plan worked. My Lesson: Never let the day job damage and drain me to the walk to the edge of a chasm and dip my toes in the despair. When the sunshine gets shut out during a heatwave, it’s time to swim upon the tides of the moon.
The experience I am grateful of… As I will never have to suffer it again. I won’t allow it to happen again. I let myself down and others by not being fully honest with myself and allowing the harm and anger to take hold. We are all accountable for our actions. Humans can be selfish. Some don’t care about the ripples in the water they create, that build up to tidal waves. Life lessons are there to teach us. In some ways I’m far too sensitive to exist in this maddening world. Put an empath in a tunnel of pain and observe the carnage.
I found Zen creating this album. This infinite and connection to Goddesses.
There were days when I’d call upon a particular Goddess. But a different one appeared. The music poured, oh how it eloquently poured out. It was like lying on snow looking up to the sky. With every detail of snowflakes tinted with rainbows. My breathing returned after being stifled. The warmth embraced and travelled beyond the timeless gentle deeper dark of my meditations. The connection to Earth, Trees.. the healing of the skies. The composing became a cycle of daily therapy. It energised. It comforted. I indulged in sunsets and horizons. It made my world more alright.
The Triple Goddess, The Maiden, The Mother, The Crone )0( I sought Goddess of the hunt, Artemis in the wilderness. Under a magical moon I meditated to Selene. At the crossroads I asked for guidance and protection from Hecate. I became one with the Earth in the woods and the sky with Mother Earth, Gaia. In my darkest times I reached for the sea and asked for the return of feelings and love from Aphrodite. I retreated into meditations often in the Goddess Temple. Protector of Cats, Bast… Our 3 cats were very much part of recording this. I enjoyed further inspiration, music and creativity with Cerridwen. I called upon Morrigan, Goddess of war and fate. To help me endure my battles within. Healing came from The Celtic Goddess of Fire, Brigid, which I have also honoured with my track Imbolc from my album 8 SabbatsAthena gave me direction and taught me how to better cope. We drove around Snowdonia under blue skies to her sounds. Asking for assistance from LakshmiGoddess of abundance. We lit candles in the dark. Helping us see the way and what we have to do for the self sustained life we aim for. When you dance with death, there is the liberation of rebirth and Motherly love. I thank Kali. The 14th and final track in this album is Dance Of The Goddess. It comes from Blood Moon We end this journey with honouring and free movement and expression of dance for all. New beginnings…
